Frequently Asked Questions

Shipping: I currently only ship within the United States and I do not answer inquiries about shipping overseas. Orders are shipped out using the most economical shipping method. Since I charge a flat rate, this keeps your costs down as well. For any orders less than $120.00, shipping is $6.95 anywhere in the U.S.  If an order is over that amount, there is an extra charge of $8.95.

Goat Milk Soap Benefits: Goat Milk is close to our own skin's PH level. When goat milk is used to make soap, as opposed to another liquid, it's PH level causes the soap to also be very mild as well. When you use this soap it doesn't strip skin of it's natural protections. This is one of the advantages of using goat milk soap. We tend to forget that our skin is the body's largest organ. Using goat milk soap is an easy and affordable remedy.

Skin Conditions: While I do not make any claims about my soap, I have been told by my customers that it has helped alleviate some skin problems. Each individual would have to make such a determination for themselves. Whenever I am asked this question, I usually just point to the information that is already available and has been proven.

Essential Oils and Fragrance Oils: I make a few soaps that contain 100% essential oils. The majority of my soap is made with synthetic fragrance oils or a blend of fragrance and essential oils (my favorite). Even adding fragrance to the soap, it is still considered more than 90% all natural.

Facial Soap: I personally use any and all of my soap on my face. Just do not get it in your eyes! Soap stings, no matter how it is made.

Sodium Hydroxide: All true soap is made using sodium hydroxide. This is what causes the chemical reaction that produces the soap, called saponification. Detergents are not true soap and are chemically produced which can cause allergic reactions or skin problems.

Ordering Soap Loaves: Soap loaves are just that - loaves that may be cut into bars. If you order a soap loaf, you can cut it yourself using a knife or putty knife. If you have a soap cutter, even better. I will cut the soap for you, but you have to ask.

Shampoo Bars: If you live in an area with soft water, you can use any of our soap as a shampoo bar. If you live in an area with even remotely hard water, beware! I have tried to use my soap in my hard water area before, even using a vinegar rinse to get rid of residue.

Size of Bars: Our bars are 4 ounces to 4.5 ounces.

Custom Soap and Special Request Soap: If you know of a soap that you like and do not see it on my website, send me an email and I will consider making it and possibly carrying it in stock.

Order Turnaround:  For retail orders, the turnaround time is 2 days up to two weeks.  Occasionally, the soap is still curing and requires a wait period.  For wholesale orders the turnaround time varies.
